Paul Verdussen, 1897

A young female figure, an allegory for social welfare, her head encircled with laurel and wearing a long draped tunic, is depicted in the act of leafing through a large book against a backdrop of the sun’s rays.

The poster, a work by renowned Belgian painter and graphic artist Paul Verdussen, was created for Les Patrons Reunis, a company founded in Belgium in 1887, acquired by the Group in 1989 and later absorbed into Generali Belgium.
