New Databases Available Online

Several important updates to existing databases, along with a new database, are now available through the INA Assitalia Historical Archive.

The most significant updates concern the INA Minutes Collection, as well as the INA Group Reports and Financial Statements. These additions are closely interconnected, as both pertain to the presidency of Roberto Bracco, who led the Istituto Nazionale delle Assicurazioni from October 1951 to December 1959. From a documentary perspective, researchers now have access to two major resources: first, the minutes of the INA Board of Directors and the Permanent Committee covering the years 1951-1959;  second, the annual reports presented by President Bracco to the Board of Directors on INA’s activities, an initiative introduced during his presidency and discontinued by his successors. The series began in 1954 with a review of the 1952–1953 biennium and continued annually until 1958, resulting in a total of six volumes.

The Small Adverts and the Medical-Healthcare Publications databases have also been expanded with newly recovered archival materials.

Finally, a completely new database related to Gestione Ina-Casa is now online under the title Fondo Acquisizioni aree per conto della Gestione INA-Casa (Land Acquisitions on behalf of Gestione INA-Casa). It provides researchers with a digital inventory of the administrative records produced by INA in the course of land acquisition operations conducted on behalf of the INA-Casa Management.
