The Generali Group’s historical archives, library, art works and archaeological collection are now all in one place, just a click away. The digitised collections are available to researchers as well as to the wider public.

A living historical and artistic heritage and an exciting adventure into the spirit of beauty through paintings, sculptures, archaeological finds, historical texts and documents preserved with passion—a testament to Generali’s longstanding and ongoing investment in culture, dating all the way back to its founding in 1831.

A multi-faceted organisation described through a wealth of different stories: from news of the most recent activities and corporate heritage initiatives in the News section, interesting facts and people introduced in the Stories section, and monographs, essays and articles on business history produced by the departments and offices in the group, with contributions from historians and independent researchers, in Publications.

Easy to read digital facsimiles have also been produced of many of the documents, and these are available via an innovative digital library based on the IIIF standard, as well as archival databases that are updated periodically, while the library has made its entire, regularly-updated catalogue available to interested parties.
